Change blinking for one button
On the BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots next to the clock and choose “Set buttons”. Select the button whose behavior you want to change. At the bottom of the menu, switch the option “Blinking when this button has a notification”.
Check the result on the home screen
When you return to the home screen, the button will stop blinking if you have disabled this option.
Change blinking for Phone or SMS
You can use the same method for the main system buttons, such as BIG Phone and BIG SMS. These buttons blink when there is a missed call or an unread SMS message. Tap the three dots, choose “Set buttons”, select the Phone or SMS button, and turn off “Blinking when this button has a notification”.
When to keep blinking enabled
Now the button will not blink even if there is a missed call or an unread message. Some users may find blinking distracting, but it is usually clearer to keep this option enabled so missed calls and unread messages are visible immediately.
