How do I set BIG Launcher as the default launcher?

Press Home, choose BIG Launcher, then tap Always or Set as default. If Android does not ask, open System settings → Apps → Default apps → Home screen → BIG Launcher.

How can I switch back to my old launcher?

Open Preferences → Clear BIG Launcher as default launcher. Then press Home and choose your original launcher.

I bought a BIG app before. How do I restore my purchase?

Use the Google account that bought the app. In that same app, open Preferences → Buy/refresh the full version → Restore purchases. If it stays locked, contact support with the app name and Google Play order number if available.

Why are BIG Phone and BIG SMS separate apps?

Google Play rules require phone and SMS permissions to be held by apps whose main job is calling or messaging. Install BIG Phone and BIG SMS separately from BIG Launcher when you need those functions.

How do I set up multiple screens in BIG Launcher?

Open Preferences → Customize buttons and screens → Add screen, then link the new screen to a button. Or open Preferences → Screens' options → Use swipe to navigate screens.

There is no ring sound on an incoming call.

Check the phone volume and Do Not Disturb. Then in BIG Phone, open Preferences → Phone → Fix: no ringtone sound. Use Select phone ringtone sound to choose the ringtone.

SMS messages are not received at all.

Make sure BIG SMS is the default messaging app. Then open Preferences → Messages, enable Fix: alternative SMS receiver and restart the phone.

How do I turn on button blinking for WhatsApp, Gmail, Messenger or other apps?

Add the app as a normal button on the BIG Launcher home screen. Then open Preferences → Screens' options → Blinking button when an app shows a notification and allow Notification access for BIG Launcher.

How do I set up or turn off the incoming SMS notification sound?

In BIG SMS, open Preferences → Messages → Sound and visual configuration. Android notification channels there control the sound, vibration and lock-screen display.

How do I set an alarm?

Tap the clock or date on the BIG Launcher home screen. Your phone’s alarm app opens, where you can set the alarm. When an alarm is set, BIG Launcher can show a bell next to the clock.

What are the limitations of the free versions of BIG Launcher, BIG Phone and BIG SMS?

BIG Launcher: only the right column of buttons can be customized, up to 5 additional screens, and no password protection.

BIG Phone: only 5 recent call-log items are visible, and the keypad is disabled during a call.

BIG SMS: only 5 recent message threads are visible, and a link is added after 20 sent SMS messages.
