How to assign a specific Whatsapp contact to one of the home screen buttons in BIG Launcher through the External shortcut option

Steps to Create a WhatsApp Chat Shortcut

  1. From your BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots next to the clock.
  2. Select "Set buttons" from the menu that appears.
  3. Choose the home screen button where you want to place the WhatsApp shortcut.
  4. From the options presented, select "External Shortcut".
  5. A list of all available shortcuts offered by the apps installed on your phone will appear. Scroll down and select "WhatsApp Chat".
  6. In the next screen, select the desired WhatsApp contact from your list.
  7. Optional: After selecting the contact, you can customize the button further. You have the option to change the button's icon or add a text label with the contact's name for easier identification.
