How to fix the SMS button blinking in BIG Launcher even if there is no new SMS message

On some Android devices, the SMS button on the BIG Launcher home screen might blink constantly, even when there are no unread SMS messages. This behavior is typically caused by a bug in the phone's firmware, not BIG Launcher itself. This guide provides steps to override this issue.

Step 1: Enable Notification-Based Blinking

1. From the BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots icon (menu button).
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Tap Screens’ options.
4. Enable the option Blinking button when an app shows a notification.
5. In the next screen, you will be prompted to grant Notification access for BIG Launcher. Tap Allow.
6. Go back to the home screen.

Step 2: Reassign the SMS Button to BIG SMS for Seniors

1. From the BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots icon again.
2. Choose Set buttons.
3. Tap the SMS button on the screen.
4. From the options, choose App.
5. Select BIG SMS for Seniors from the list of available applications.
6. Return to the home screen.

Step 3: Execute an Advanced Admin Command
