Method 1: Adjusting Notifications from an Unread Message
When you have an unread SMS message, you can quickly access its notification settings:
- Pull down your phone's notification bar.
- Long-tap the notification labeled “BIG SMS for Seniors”.
- Additional buttons will appear. Tap “Details”.
- A new screen with system settings will show up. Tap “Incoming message”.
- On the next screen, you can choose your preferred “Notification style”. You can also select a different notification sound from your phone’s library. Additional options may be available depending on your specific phone model.
If you wish to stop all notifications from BIG SMS, you can turn them off completely from the previous screen in these settings.
Method 2: Accessing Notification Settings via System Settings
You can also access these notification options directly through your phone’s main system settings:
- Open your phone's “System settings” menu.
- Navigate to “Notifications”.
- Tap “See all” to view a list of all installed applications.
- Find and tap “BIG SMS for Seniors” in the list.
- From here, you can set the notification options according to your preferences, including notification style, sound, and whether to disable them entirely.
