BIG Launcher offers a handy feature where a shortcut button on your home screen can blink when its associated app receives a new notification. This guide will walk you through the steps to activate this visual alert for apps like WhatsApp, Gmail, and more.

Step 1: Create or Select an App Shortcut Button

First, ensure you have a shortcut to your desired app on your BIG Launcher home screen button. If not, here's how to set one up:

  1. On the BIG Launcher home screen, tap the three dots next to the clock.
  2. From the menu, choose "Set buttons".
  3. Tap the specific button you wish to customize for the blinking notification.
  4. Select "App" from the options.
  5. Choose the desired application (e.g., WhatsApp, Gmail) from your list of installed apps.

Step 2: Activate the Blinking Button Notification Feature

Now, let's enable the blinking functionality:

  1. Go back to the BIG Launcher home screen.
  2. Tap the three dots next to the clock again.
  3. Select "Preferences" from the menu.
  4. Tap "Screens' options".
  5. Enable the option titled "Blinking button when an app shows a notification" by tapping its toggle.

Step 3: Grant Notification Access to BIG Launcher
