Simplifying the Call Menu (Remove SMS Option)

When you tap a contact button or select someone from your contacts list, a menu typically appears, offering both 'Call' and 'Send SMS' options. If you wish to simplify this by removing the SMS option, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the three dots next to the clock on your main screen.
  2. Choose “Preferences” from the menu that appears.
  3. Select “Contacts”.
  4. In the next screen, find and disable “Show message option in call dialog”.

Now, when you tap a contact, only the “Call” option will be shown. This works as a confirmation of the call and helps prevent accidental touches resulting in unwanted calls or message drafts.

Completely Disabling the Call Menu

If you prefer to dial contacts immediately upon tapping them, without any intermediate confirmation menu, you can completely disable this feature:

  1. Tap the three dots next to the clock.
  2. Choose “Preferences” from the menu.
  3. Select “Contacts”.
  4. In the next screen, find and enable “No menu when calling the contact”.

With this setting enabled, when you tap a contact, the call will be dialed immediately without any menu appearing first.
